May 30, 2005 - The wood processing industry is one of the sectors supported by the state. The managing director of Zruby Rajec, Miloš Bronček, as a competent manager, took advantage of the opportunities offered and approached the Slovak Guarantee and Development Bank for a subsidy. Under the scheme to support the processing and utilization of timber in Slovakia, he obtained four million Slovak crowns for the purchase of new technologies.

May 30, 2005 - Wood processing has a long tradition in the Rajec Valley, which is continued by the company Zruby Rajec, s.r.o. It was established in 1993 and is now known in Slovakia and Europe as a manufacturer of typical Canadian log cabins. The company was founded by Miloš Bronček, a graduate of the Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers in Riga, Latvia. Even as a student, he started importing wood from Pobaltie and Belarus to Slovakia. Eventually, he settled in Rajec.
